Lady Gaga has paid tribute to model Rick Genest, who has died at the age of 32.

Rick was known as Zombie Boy, due to bone and organ tattoos across his body, including skull features on his face.

He was found dead at his home in Montreal, Canada and is believed to have killed himself, reports say.

Rick appeared in Gaga’s Born This Way video in 2011 and the singer says the loss is “beyond devastating.”

Rick modelled for French fashion designer Thierry Mugler, appeared in Vogue Japan and was once the face of Jay-Z’s Rocawear fashion label.

He was 32 at the time of his death. His body was found six days before his 33rd birthday.

The heavily-inked artist was known as Zombie boy after being tattooed like a corpse across his body.

At the time of his death, he held the Guinness World Record for the most insect tattoos (176) and the most bone tattoos (139).

Gaga wore makeup in her “Born This Way” music video to mimic Genest’s tattoos. The video has over 231 million views on YouTube.

Before his death, Genest was involved with the Home Depot Canada Foundation to bring awareness to youth homelessness.

According to iHeartRadio, Genest quickly found work as a model after being featured in the Grammy winner’s music video, modeling for magazines such as GQ, Vanity Fair, and Vogue Hommes.
